Cascadia Credit Union was born from the merger of three long-standing community credit unions, each with their own history and loyal members. The challenge was building one brand that could hold all of that without flattening it.
As lead brand designer at Better Good, I built the identity around the idea of layers, a metaphor pulled straight from the geography of British Columbia. The logo, the motif system, the colour palette, all of it works together as one cohesive visual language that's distinct enough to stand out in a financial landscape full of blue and grey.
